I see in the Herald that one of Con Constantine’s crapshacks has sold, and another is under contract. His wool sheds in Maryville have gone - and the site of the old Newcastle Museum is under condtional contract. The old brewery site is wonderful, and substantially intact…I hope that the potential purchaser does something sympathetic with it! (And I hope whatever is done IS DONE QUICKLY. I’ve had enough of Newcastle developments landbanking sites to the detriment of the CBD.
Too true. So many prime locations left vacant.
